EUROPEAN MEDICINES AGENCY

A committee within the European Medicines Agency has launched an investigation into allegations that some women with the mRNA-based Covid-19 vaccine have experienced excessive bleeding. The authorities announced that they had evaluated complaints from thousands of women in Europe and that an investigation had been launched into Pfizer/BioNTech’s Covid-19 vaccine and the Moderna vaccine.

According to some Turkish media, the European Medicines Agency’s Drug Safety Committee has announced that it is evaluating claims that excessive bleeding and menstrual periods are disrupted in women who have been vaccinated.

It was announced that the European Medicines Agency would examine whether there was a link between mRNA-based Covid-19 vaccines and health problems experienced by women using clinical test data from cases in the EU.

According to studies, it has been noted that this problem occurs in 4 out of every 10 women who have had the mRNA vaccine. But past research and reviews have announced that the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine does not affect fertility, and no side effects have been observed in both pregnant women and their children.
