Announcement from Turkish Airlines regarding Ukraine, Moldova, Russia and Belarus

Turkish Airlines (THY) have announced that the cancellation of flights to Sochi and Rostov in Russia, as well as flights to Ukraine and Moldova, where airspace has been closed due to the war, has been extended until April 10. In addition, flights to Belarus were also canceled until March 31.

A statement on THY’s social media account said: “Our flights to Ukraine have been cancelled until April 10, including departure and arrival. Our flights to and from Rostov and Sochi have been cancelled until April 10th. Our flights to Moldova have been cancelled until April 10th. You can accomplish the change and refund process from your agent, our website or our call center.”

On the other hand, it was stated that the cancellations of flights to Belarus, another country where flights were stopped due to the war, had extended until March 31.

Romania abolishes vaccination card and PCR test at entrance

Another country has been added to the countries that have abolished corona virus measures throughout Europe. According to the spokesperson, as part of the measures implemented in Romania, the obligation to submit the required vaccination card and PCR test at the entrance to the country has been abolished.

THY shared following on social media: “The Covid-19 measures implemented in Romania have ended. There is no obligation to present a vaccination card or PCR test at entrances to Romania.”
