Another big raise in diesel price
It is expected that the price of the diesel will be increased by 1.37 lira per liter tonight. Oil prices and the rise in the dollar exchange rate bring with them hikes in fuel oil.
According to industry sources, starting from midnight tonight, the price of a liter of diesel will be increased by 1.37 lira. As for gasoline, no price changes are expected.
WHAT ARE THE NEW PRICES?
With tonight’s hike, the price per liter of the diesel will increase to 23.60 TL in Istanbul and 23.71 TL in Ankara and Izmir. The price of a liter of gasoline is 19.78 TL in Istanbul, 19.88 TL in Ankara, and 19.90 TL in Izmir.
267 PERCENT INCREASE IN DIESEL PRICE IN ONE YEAR
The price of a liter diesel was TL 6.43 a year ago and TL 11.43 at the beginning of the year. With tonight’s hike, the engine house hike rate will be 267 percent in the last year and 106.5 percent since the beginning of the year.
