As war in Ukraine enters 27th day, Zelensky shares compromise signals regarding Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk
Russia’s invasion operation against Ukraine has entered the 27th day. Clashes continue in many cities of the country. Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky noted that the issues of possible reconciliation with Russia should be put to a referendum in Ukraine.
“The people will decide on the compromise format, but what they will be, will be a matter of our negotiations with Russia” Zelensky said. Making another statement, the Ukrainian leader noted that his country would be ready to discuss with Russia the issues of recognition of the Crimean, Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics after receiving security guarantees.
