Turkey ships armored vehicles to the border: Is a ground operation on the way?

While the air operation launched by the Turkish Armed Forces in the north of Syria and Iraq continued last night, armored military vehicles began to be dispatched to the border from the Midyat district of Mardin.

After the explosion in Taksim, Istanbul, which killed six people and injured 81 others, the official authorities stated that the PKK / YPG / PYD had carried out the attack, and the PKK announced that it had nothing to do with the attack.

In response, the warplanes of the Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) launched the air operation codenamed ‘Claw-Sword’ at midnight last night. As the operation continued throughout the day, there were reports of casualties from both the YPG and the Syrian army.

In the evening, armored vehicles and personnel were sent to the border from the military units located in the Midyat district of Mardin.
