Ataturk Olympic Stadium is ready for the Champions League final between Manchester City and Inter
Preparations have been completed ahead of the biggest club-based organization of European football to be played at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium on 10.06.2023 The UEFA Champions League Final will be held tomorrow between the English team Manchester City FC and the Italian team Inter. Szymon Marciniak from the Polish Football Federation will blow the whistle in the challenge that will start at Ataturk Olympic Stadium at 22.00 on 10.06.2023.
Marciniak’s assistants will be Pawel Sokolnicki and Tomasz Listkiewicz. Before the giant match, good work was carried out around and inside the stadium for weeks.
‘Fan Zone’ areas for 20 thousand people were established near the south and north stands for the fans who will follow the match at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium. Both teams will organize various concerts, video shows and events between 14.00-20.00 on the day of the final with their own artists, DJs and video content on the stages set up in these specially prepared ‘Fan Zone’ areas. Only ticketed spectators can enter, and food and drink services will also be provided in these areas, fans will be able to enter the stadium directly by walking.
In the area called “Champions Village”, which is prepared right next to the stadium, a section specially reserved for VIP fans and sponsors will welcome guests during the match day.
ISTANBUL HOSTS THE FINAL GAME FOR THE 2ND TIME
Istanbul, which previously hosted the final game between an English Premier League team Liverpool and an Italian Serie A team Milan in the 2004-2005 season, was to host this tournament for the 2nd time in the 2020-2021 season, but due to the coronavirus, the UEFA Champions League Final was moved from Istanbul and it was decided to be hosted by Portugal. Istanbul will host the giant event for the second time.
