Authority lifts music ban across whole Turkey

The music ban which has been applied after 01.00 since July 1, 2021, has been lifted all over Turkey.

Burhan Şeşen, President of the Professional Association of Music Commentators (MIYORBIR), announced that the music ban which has been applied after 01.00 since July 2021 due to the pandemic, has been lifted all over Turkey

Şeşen, who made statements to the SÖZ Platform, said that the Minister of Culture and Tourism and his deputy informed him that the music ban had been lifted.

The announcement made by MIYORBIR on his official social media account was as follows:

“We would like to share with happiness that the pandemic restrictions in the music sector have been lifted throughout Turkey. We would like to thank the concerned Ministries and individuals who contributed to this important decision for the music sector. I wish the music would never stop…”
