Bebek Cafe … A place to have nice Turkish tea by the “beautiful” Bosphorus on the weekend

BEBEK KAHVESI (Cafe) is one of the most popular spots in Istanbul.. It is a must spot should you ever pass by BEBEK – a very elite quarter of the town..

It has been a truly popular place for a long time..  Nothing luxurious..  It has been run by the same people for years and everything is set up to get relaxed and listen to the Bosphorus

Bebek Cafe is a pleasant  environment and a perfect spot to relax with a cup of  Turkish coffee or a glass of Turkish tea, located right in the harbor next to a local mosque.

The place is freuquented with students from nearby Bosphorus University and many others for breakfast with poaça and nice tea at weekends.

It is always busy and it is not easy to find a table next to the Bosphorus, you will enjoy your linden tea with your ‘peynirli simit’ (Turkish bagel with cheese).It’s just next to the dock in Bebek, close to the park.

As you sit and enjoy your tea (or coffee) you cannot help adoring the beauty of the Bosphorus right in front of you.. The cafe stays open from early morning until midnight. It is definitely a must to see place should you pass by Istanbul..
