BIST 100 index reached its highest point at 9,174.19
BIST 100 index started the week at its lowest point of 8,736.45 and reached its highest point at 9,174.19. Here is the performance of investment instruments for this week:
– Stocks traded on Borsa Istanbul gained an average of 0.64% on a weekly basis.
– The USD/TRY exchange rate increased by 1.29%.
– The EUR/TRY exchange rate rose by 3.33%.
– The price of gold per gram recorded a 7.81% increase.
The BIST 100 index started the week at its lowest point of 8,736.45 and reached its highest point at 9,174.19 before closing the week at 9,155.32 points, marking a 0.64% increase compared to the previous week’s closing.
The selling price of 24-carat gold bullion in the Kapalıçarşı market increased by 7.81% to 2,235 Turkish liras, while the selling price of the Republic gold coin rose by 7.85% to 15,025 Turkish liras. The selling price of a quarter of a gold coin, which was 3,410 Turkish liras last weekend, increased to 3,678 Turkish liras.
This week, the USD/TRY exchange rate increased by 1.29% to 31.9620 Turkish liras, and the EUR/TRY exchange rate rose by 3.33% to 35.0400 Turkish liras.
Investment funds gained 1.18% this week, while individual pension funds gained 0.84%. Among investment funds, “Precious Metals” funds were the highest gainers with 6.32%.
