Airdropped aid boxes hit civilians in Gaza: Deaths and injuries reported
As Israeli attacks continue in Gaza, aid boxes dropped by planes carrying humanitarian aid fell on Palestinians waiting for assistance in the region. Reports indicate that there are casualties and injuries in the incident.
According to eyewitnesses, some of the humanitarian aid boxes dropped from planes did not have their parachutes open and fell on Palestinians waiting for aid.
Eyewitnesses reported that the boxes fell on civilians waiting for humanitarian aid in the Shati Refugee Camp and Cela Street areas in the northern city of Gaza.
Hospital sources also stated that those in need in Gaza were waiting for the airdropped aid to land, and due to the parachutes not opening, rapidly falling boxes hit and caused deaths and injuries.
Sources noted that the injured were taken to Shifa and Al-Ahli Baptist Hospitals in the city of Gaza.
