Bodrum faces tourist influx before 4 day curfew during holiday comes into effect

It was reported that there had been an influx of holiday makers to BODRUM on Friday before the beginning of curfew restrictions. In the last 24 hours, about 10 thousand vehicles were reported to have entered the famous resort.

Bodrum, Muğla’s world-famous tourist district is observed to be experiencing the intensity caused by Ramadan holiday of 4 days.

In Torba, which is the only entrance to Bodrum, implementation of the corona virus measures were strictly followed by security forces. Police and gendarmerie teams stopped vehicles at the checkpoint and warned drivers and passengers against the outbreak.

Bodrum Police Department officers measured the temperature of drivers and passengers. Those with a fever above 38 degrees were taken to hospital for a check-up by paramedics in the area, as a precaution.

Crews who obtained the addresses and phone numbers of those who came to their summer homes warned not to go out for 14 days. Due to the controls, a queue of about 3 kilometers of vehicles formed on the roadway.

On the other hand, it was reported that about 10 thousand vehicles had entered Bodrum in the last 24 hours.
