Borsa Istanbul opens with a strong rise

Borsa Istanbul had been closed since February 8 and was opened for trading today. BIST started the day with an increase of 5.86 percent at 4769 points. After the opening, BIST made a premium of about 10 percent.

Borsa Istanbul was closed to transactions on February 8, 2023 after the earthquake disaster affecting 10 provinces based in Kahramanmaraş. Today, the operations have started again.

BIST which opened trading with the arrangements made by the CMB (SPK / Capital Markets Board) and Borsa Istanbul, started the day at 4769 points with an increase of 5.86 percent. After the opening, it became stronger in purchases and BIST is currently trading at 9,47 points with a premium of 4932 percent.
