Breaking: Competition Board launches investigation over Facebook and WhatsApp

Breaking news: The Competition Board has launched an investigation into Facebook and WhatsApp and stopped requiring WhatsApp data to be shared.

Competition Board has used following statement in its announcement: “It has been decided that Facebook in Turkey must stop the terms imposed on the use of WhatsApp users ‘ data for other services from February 8, 2021, and notify all users who agree to these terms or do not accept the information by the said date that Facebook has stopped the new terms that include data sharing.”
