Britain introduces new conditions for passengers arriving from Turkey

The UK, which is preparing to introduce a Covid-19 vaccine passport on April 15 as part of the fight against the corona virus, has also renewed its requirements for passengers arriving from Turkey who use transfer from another country because there are no direct flights. In this direction, a test result and a 10-day quarantine condition 3 days before the flight, were introduced.

The new conditions imposed by the UK for passengers arriving from Turkey were included in the “entry table to countries under the Covid-19 measures” shared by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation.

HERE ARE THE NEW TERMS

“People aged 11 and older arriving in the UK from Turkey are required to submit a negative Covid-19 antigen, LAMP, nucleic acid or PCR test result made within 3 calendar days before the flight. A 10-day quarantine will be imposed.

On the 2nd and 8th days, the Covid-19 test will be performed the cost to be covered byconcerned persons. It will be necessary to provide information about a quarantine hotel and reservation number via a form to be filled in before entry to the country.

PREVIOUSLY, PCR TEST TAKEN 72 HOURS IN ADVANCE, WAS SUFFICIENT

Britain had previously imposed a 10-day quarantine for passengers arriving from Turkey at their own declared address, or else another address shown by the state (in case they could not declare one). It was asking passengers over the age of 11 for a negative test result no more than 72 hours before their trip.
