China suspends Turkish Airlines flights as the number of cases in Turkey increases

TURKISH AIRLINES TO CHINA SUSPENDED

China has announced it has suspended Turkish Airlines flights as the number of cases in Turkey increases. China shared that RwandAir and Ethiopian Airlines flights had also been suspended due to covid-19.

Chinese Civil Aviation Authority (CAAC) said in a statement that due to the cases of covid-19 observed in flights, Turkish Airlines flights would not be operated for 4 weeks from April 19.

14 passengers on TK 72 flight on 24 March had tested positive

According to the news in media, 14 passengers on TK 72 flight, which was last held on March 24, tested positive. 42551 new cases have been seen in Turkey in the last 24 hours, while 193 of our citizens have died.

On the other hand, 5 passengers each were found positive on RwandAir’S WB9500 flight on March 21 and Ethiopian Airlines ‘ ET684 flight on March 23.
