British tour operator announces 2023 Antalya target

Necati Topaloğlu, Mayor of Kemer who participated in the WTM London Fair held in London, the capital of the UK, said that Jet2 aims to bring 400 thousand guests to Antalya this year.

The Mayor made statements about his meetings at the fair and said he had met with Jet2.com officials and Director of Airports and Tourism Organizations.

A JOINT PROJECT FOR PROMOTION

Topaloğlu announced that they would do joint promotional work with Jet2 in the UK market and stated that he had informed referred person about the sports organizations, hiking trails, diving tourism and other activities held in Kemer.

He went on to say, “We had a meeting to bring more British guests to Kemer. We provided them with info abour KEMER the best way we could. They were very pleased and said that they liked Kemer very much. They explained that they would do work about KEMER on social media platforms, billboards and advertisements. They are planning to do a joint work with our municipality. They especially admired the activities in Kemer. We have started working to make a joint project. We are working to bring more British guests to Kemer.”

On the other hand Joe TAYLOR director of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays Airports and Tourism Organizations, said the following:

“We had a positive meeting with Kemer Mayor Necati Topaloğlu. The activities in Kemer pleased us. the number of British guests we brought to Antalya in 2022 is 380 thousand. Our goal in 2023 will be to bring 400 thousand British guests to Antalya. Currently, our package sales have reached 70 percent. The remaining 30 percent are bought by the British themselves.”
