British tourist influx to Bodrum, Marmaris and Fethiye

The number of British tourists, who will start coming to Muğla, where Turkey’s popular tourism centers such as Bodrum Marmaris and Fethiye are located, in groups as of March 17, is expected to reach 1.5 million this year.

A top professional in the sector stated that early bookings and the number of flights to the region were an indication that the season would be very good, and said that 1,280,000 British tourists had reserved seats for Dalaman Airport from England for the time being. He also said following: “As long as we can do it as hoteliers, tradesmen, agencies and airline companies, the season will get longer and we will see tourists coming even in winter.”

It is a known fact that Turkey and Fethiye region in particular are very much favored by Brits and in fact there are thousands already settled in the region, leading a happy life.
