As the corona virus outbreak continues, Canadian scientists have announced that a very critical step has been taken to reach the vaccine. Scientists at three different universities explained that the corona virus had been successfully isolated and that copies of the corona virus had been developed. Thus, scientists will be able to work much faster in making vaccines.

Coronavirus has caused deaths of more than 5,000 people across the globe since December and created a global panic. In the meantime good news was received from Canada. A team of scientists working on the virus announced that they had been successful in isolating the virus.

Scientists from the Sunnybrook Research Institute, the University of Toronto and McMaster University announced the successful isolation of the corona virus. Scientists working on samples from two Canadian patients explained that the virus was re-created in a laboratory environment.

“Copies developed in the laboratory will be an opportunity for scientists to better identify, test, treat and produce vaccines for the disease,” the statement said. One of the scientists said “We have successfully isolated the SARS-CoV-2 virus and will continue our research through this. So by producing more viruses, we can better learn the biology of the disease and work more interactively” he said.
