Kusadası expects to receive more than 300 cruise ships with 350,000 tourists in 2020
Turkey has truly taken big steps in tourism industry lately and is considered among the attractive destinations for travelers. Cruise tourism on the other has also started to improve judging on the reservations for 2020. KUSADASI for instance which was considered one of the most important ports in Mediterranean cruise tourism is expected to return to the league of giants with the ultra-luxury cruise ships it will host in 2020.
Regarding this issue officials say, “We expect 350 thousand tourists to set foot in Kusadasi in 2020 with more than 300 cruise ships”.
They also state that Kuşadası known as to be among tourism destinations in Turkey is preparing to display a high performance this year. They comment that the town which seems to be shining once again as one of the star holiday resorts in Mediterranean thanks to the planned promotional activities and fairs carried out abroad by the municipality of Kuşadası, is bound to become the destination of cruise ships with a worldwide market of 35 billion dollars in 2020.
The professionals also say thousands of tourists will hail to the port of Kusadasi starting in May on ultra-luxury cruise ships such as Sirena, Voyager, Riviera and Voyager Splender, where more American rich tourists prefer to travel. Kuşadası port will thus experience the happiness of returning to the Giants League in cruise tourism.
