Health Minister KOCA announces increase in number of corona virus cases in Turkey

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, Justice Minister Abdulhamit Gul and Transport and Infrastructure Minister Cahit Turhan made statements before the cameras after the corona virus Science Board.

Koca explained that 3 new cases had been identified in connection with the first case and confirmed that number of cases in Turkey had increased to 5.

The Minister of Health also said, “We definitely do not want our citizens to go abroad, where case numbers are climbing around the world. We do not name any country in this period, we know that it is seen in all countries of the world now and emphasize that it is necessary for our citizens to stay in our Country. We find it wrong for those abroad currently to insist on returning. We recommend that they put themselves under protection where they are”.

On the other hand Minister Turhan announced that flights to Germany, France, Spain, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Austria, Sweden and the Netherlands had been halted until April 17 due to corona virus.
