Car owners beware! Turkey’s Ministry of Interior to take action and start new era in traffic

The Ministry of Interior rolled up its sleeves to start a new era in traffic. In order to minimize traffic accidents and deaths, traffic inspections will be carried out within the scope of planned inspections aimed at 80 million vehicles and drivers.

5 thousand drivers who make the most accidents will be given “driving rules” lessons. Special inspections will be carried out according to the vehicles involved in the accidents.

TRAFFIC INSPECTIONS WILL BE CARRIED OUT ON 80 MILLION VEHICLES

In order to establish traffic safety at the highest level, inspections will be activated by taking advantage of developments in road technologies, and road users will be made aware of traffic safety. Within the scope of the target planned inspections, traffic inspections will be carried out on 80 million vehicles and drivers.

Activities will be carried out to reduce the loss of life caused by traffic accidents, to 8.3 percent.

“Safe Driving Rules Training” will be given to 5 thousand of the drivers who have the highest number of accidents and three training films will be prepared and used on social media.

TRAFFIC SAFETY TRAININGS WILL BE GIVEN TO INDIVIDUALS

Educational materials will be printed as part of the activities to inform and raise awareness of road users about traffic safety throughout the country, and traffic safety trainings will be continued in order to give individuals the habit of behaving safely in traffic at a young age.

Statistical information of the types of vehicles involved in a traffic accident will be extracted and special inspections will be carried out according to the accident analysis of the vehicles involved in the accident.
