Standard & Poors keeps Turkey's note

Despite the difficult times Turkey has been going through in terms of economy, credit rating agency S & P has confirmed Turkey’s rating at “B+”, without changing the outlook for the rating and setting it as “stable”.

International credit rating agency S & P Global Ratings has confirmed Turkey’s long-term foreign currency credit rating as “B+”, four levels below the “eligible for investment level”. Thus, the institution did not change the appearance of the note, leaving it “stationary”.

The administration of the country has been coping with major difficulties for quite a while, partly due to epidemic crisis. Turkish Lira has lost much value against US dollar and the inflation has been recorded by official authority at figures round 13-14 percent. However, opinion leaders comment it is round 30 percent in reality.
