ERDOGAN RALLY AGAINST ISRAEL

Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen announced that they had recalled their diplomats based in Turkey and that Tel Aviv would reconsider relations with Ankara. Cohen said, “We will re-evaluate our relations with Turkey”. Cohen’s statement came after Erdogan’s harsh criticism of Israel.

WHAT DID ERDOGAN SAY?

President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in a speech, expressed the opinion that Hamas was not a terrorist organization, and there were successive reactions from Israel.

Erdogan also directed harsh criticism at Israel at a large Palestinian Rally held in Istanbul today. ”Israel, you are an occupier, you are an organization,” Erdogan said, adding that Israel would be declared a war criminal. Erdogan used the expression, “You will pay a heavy price for this eventually.” Cohen’s statement came shortly after Erdogan’s speech.
