Dalaman and Milas-Bodrum airports experience heavy passenger traffic of 7 million in 2024 summer

Muğla’s Dalaman and Milas-Bodrum airports experienced a high volume of passenger traffic this summer. Dalaman Airport served a total of 3,929,979 passengers, while Milas-Bodrum Airport handled 3,122,496 passengers. In total, 7,052,475 people traveled through Muğla by air.
In August 2024, the number of passengers arriving at Dalaman Airport increased by 8% compared to the same period last year, reaching 1,743,387 people. International passenger traffic rose by 7%, with 1,379,109 passengers. Milas-Bodrum Airport saw a total passenger traffic of 3,122,496.
According to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, a total of 25,191,905 passengers traveled through airports across Turkey in August. During the first eight months of the year, the number of passengers served by the country’s airports reached 154,930,677, and the total amount of cargo transported was 3,233,453 tons.
Dalaman and Milas-Bodrum airports are attracting attention with their strong performance in both domestic and international flights during the busy summer season, a positive development for the tourism industry.
