DHL Express Signs Agreement to Support Turkey’s EU Accession
DHL Express, an international logistics and postal services firm, and the Turkish Secretariat General for European Union Affairs have signed a cooperation agreement to support Turkey’s EU accession process.
Within the scope of the cooperation, the motto “Turkey for the future of Europe” will be printed on packages and tractor-trailers sent via DHL Express from Turkey to European countries, according to a written statement from the company.
In addition to this, messages and visual work concerning why Turkey should be a member of the EU will be printed on packages and sent to receivers in Europe.
The project to reach many European countries will be launched with a meeting in Istanbul on Tuesday. The meeting will be attended by Turkish State Minister for EU negotiations Egemen Bağış and Michel Akavi, DHL Express Turkey director.
