Diesel price expected to see an increase from tonight
The price of a liter of diesel will see an increase effective from tonight. The increase in oil prices is supposed to have caused the hike. The easing of epidemic restrictions in China and the message of the US Central Bank (Fed) Chairman Jerome Powell to slow down interest rate increases has led to an increase in fuel prices along with oil prices.
According to sector sources, the price of diesel fuel will be increased by 1 lira 16 cents per liter starting from tonight. For gasoline, there will be no price change tonight.
WHAT ABOUT THE NEW PRICES?
With tonight’s hike, the price of a liter of diesel will increase approximately to 23.61 TL in Istanbul, 23.75 TL in Ankara and 23.82 TL in Izmir.
At present, the price of a liter of gasoline is approximately 20,18 TL in Istanbul, 20,34 TL in Ankara, 20,35 TL in Izmir.
Prices differ between provinces, districts and dealers according to refinery distances and company profit margins.
