Dollar and inflation forecast in Central Bank survey

The Central Bank has announced results from a survey of market participants. The year-end dollar forecast fell to 19.54. The inflation forecast rose to 68.06.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) has published the “Market Participants Survey” for November, which it conducted with 41 participants consisting of real and financial sector representatives and professionals.

The expectation of an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for November, which was 3.05 percent last month, increased to 3.14 percent during this survey period, and the expectation of an increase in the CPI at the end of the current year increased from 67.78 percent to 68.06 percent.

Expectations of an increase in the CPI rose from 37.34 percent to 37.47 percent for the period after 12 months, while it fell from 21.17 percent to 20.76 percent for after 24 months.
