Earthquake in Turkey: Loss of life approaches 40 thousand
Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu announced that 39 thousand 672 people had lost their lives in the Kahramanmaraş-based earthquakes as of 21.35 today.
The number of casualties in the two earthquakes that occurred 9 hours apart on Dec. 6 in Kahramanmaras is increasing.
Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu announced more than 39 thousand people had lost their lives in the earthquakes that cause destruction in Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Adana, Adiyaman, Osmaniye, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya and Elazığ provinces.
