Economy in Turkey: Dollar TL exchange rate on February 7, 2024
The dollar/TL started the day with an increase and is trading at 30.6010. The dollar/TL, which moved in the range of 30.55-30.82 yesterday, closed the day at 30.5531, just below the previous closing.
The dollar/TL started the new day with a gain and is trading at 30.59. The euro/TL is up 0.2 percent at 32.98, and the pound/TL is up 0.2 percent at 38.6630.
The dollar index is currently down 0.2 percent at 104.1 points.
Analysts noted that Federal Reserve officials’ cautious approach to interest rate cuts has had an impact on asset prices.
In the money markets, there is a 22 percent chance of a rate cut by the Fed in March and a 66 percent chance in May.
Analysts noted that the technical support levels for the dollar index are at 104 and 103 points, with resistance at 105 and 106 points.
