Economy in Turkey: Exchange rate for Dollar/ TL on February 9

The Dollar prices rose to 30.6813 Turkish Lira (TRY) after the opening, reaching its highest level while the markets were open. Investors were curious about the latest status of the Dollar and Euro exchange rates on the last trading day of the week. So, what was the latest Dollar rate? Here are the exchange rate prices for February 9th, Friday…

The Dollar prices, which were at 30.6050 TRY at the closing time of the Turkish markets yesterday, started the new day at 30.6798 TRY. The rate rose to 30.6813 TRY after the opening, thus reaching its highest level while the markets were open. As of 09:28, the Dollar had risen by 0.28% to 30.6744 TRY.

On the other hand, on February 6th, the Dollar rate reached a record level of 30.7999 TRY in the shallow market.

While Euro prices rose to 33.1200 TRY in the shallow market, they are currently at 33.0761 TRY with a 0.07% increase. Meanwhile, the British Pound is trading at 38.7173 TRY at the same moment.

The Dollar index is currently at 104.19, with a 0.03% decrease. The Euro/dollar parity is moving around 1.0772 levels at the moment.

The compound interest rate for the 10-year benchmark bond is at 25.71%, while the compound interest rate for the 2-year benchmark bond is at 42.79%.
