Economy in Turkey: Gold hits an all-time high
Gram gold, which started the day at 1740 liras, reached an all-time high during the day, reaching 1770 liras. However, it closed the day at 1750 liras after retracting towards the closing.
Gram gold, which surpassed 1700 liras in July 2023, has been following a volatile trend since that period. It had dropped to 1600 liras on October 3 after reaching 1690 liras on September 20.
On October 7, following the start of the Israel-Hamas conflict, gram gold started to rise again.
