Economy in Turkey: How much did investment tools gain last week?

While the stock market and gold were among investment tools that caused losses last week, US dollar gained value. In Borsa Istanbul, the BIST 100 index ended the week at 5,012.34 points with a loss of 1.58 percent. The index saw a low of 4,975.48 points and a high of 5,138.08 points during the week.

During the same period, Borsa Istanbul Financial Index decreased by 1.31 percent to 4,774.73 points, Industrial Index lost by 1.86 percent to 8,097.49 points, Services Index decreased by 1.17 percent to 4,330.51 points, Technology Index decreased by 2.05 percent to 5,128.67 points.

IPEK NATURAL ENERGY STOCKS ENJOYED HIGHEST GAIN

Among the stocks included in the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul, Ipek Doğal Enerji was the one that increased the most this week with 12.57 percent. Ipek Doğal Enerji was followed by Şok Marketler Ticaret with 11.73 percent and Halkbank with 9.21 percent.

The highest loss among the mentioned shares belonged to Kızılbük Gayrimenkul Investment Trust with 14.09 percent, Alarko Holding with 11.20 percent, Teknosa Domestic and Foreign Trade with 9.10 percent.
