Economy in Turkey: “Record in Central Bank reserves”

The total reserves of Turkey’s Central Bank (TCMB) surged by $2.742 billion last week, reaching a record high. Net international reserves also increased to $51.775 billion during the same period.

According to TCMB data, as of September 20, total reserves rose from $153.550 billion to $156.392 billion. Gross reserves increased from $92.155 billion to $94.109 billion, while gold reserves grew from $61.395 billion to $62.283 billion, reaching an all-time high.

Net international reserves, which stood at $48.778 billion the previous week, rose by $2.997 billion, reaching $51.775 billion during this period.
