Economy in Turkey: The dollar continues to break new records
The US dollar continues to rise against the Turkish lira. It seems that this upward trend will not stop anytime soon.
Today, the dollar started at a record high again, reaching 31.7270 Turkish Liras. It is stated that it will easily surpass the 32 TL level before the local elections and move towards the 33 TL level.
Undoubtedly, the rise of the dollar against the Turkish lira pumps inflation into all areas of life. Because almost everything used, produced, and consumed in the country has some connection to the dollar.
After the local elections, experts suggest that when the government relinquishes control it currently imposes on the dollar, the exchange rate will surpass 35 TL and go towards levels well beyond that, possibly reaching 40 TL.
