Election in Turkey: CHP leader KILICDAROGLU says he will visit pro-Kurdish HDP Party

Answering the questions from media, CHP Leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu, presidential candidate of the nation alliance, said, “Of course, I will also visit the HDP.” Immediately after KILICDAROGLU was announced as a joint candidate, HDP Co-Leader Mithat Sancar said if they agreed on the “democracy agenda”, they could support KILICDAROGLU, so that the presidential election could be won in the first round.

Answering a question in regards, the CHP leader said: “Of course, I will also visit the HDP. As a presidential candidate, it is already a requirement of democracy that I visit all parties, as someone who claims that to become the president of the whole of Turkey, 85 million.

He went on to say, “What could be wrong if I visit the HDP? We sometimes work under the administration of the deputy chairman of the HDP in the Parliament. We work together with HDP deputies on commissions. Nothing can be more natural than for me to visit the HDP. I already have an understanding based on trying to reach all segments of society, and I have tried to apply it. My work in this direction will continue.”
