Election in Turkey: Pro-Kurdish HDP will not field Presidential candidate meaning indirect support for KILICDAROGLU

The Labor and Freedom Alliance, which includes the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), has announced that they will not field candidates for the Presidential elections on May 14.

The Labor and Freedom Alliance, consisting of 6 political parties including the HDP, TIP and EMEP, which decided to enter the election under the name of alliance at its last meeting, decided not to field candidates in the presidential election to be held on May 14.

Making a statement on behalf of the Alliance for Labor and Freedom, HDP Co-Leader Pervin Buldan said, “We will fulfill our historical responsibility. We declare that we will not field candidates in the presidential elections.” said.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This decision by said alliance could mean indirect (actually direct, maybe) support for KILICDAROGLU, candidate of Nation’s Alliance, making it much easier to achieve a victory in presidential election – very likely.
