European Union to increase Schengen visa fee from 60 euros to 80 euros as of February 2nd

The Schengen visa fee will be increased by 20 euros from 60 euros to 80 euros from February 2nd. European Union (EU) member states approved an increase of 20 euros in visa application fees which will go into effect on February 2nd.

According to a statement made by TURSAB (Turkish Travel Agents Union), Schengen visa fees will increase by 20 euros on February 2nd. A statement from TÜRSAB on the issue shared following information

“Under the new visa law, the Schengen visa application fee has been increased from 60 euros to 80 euros as of 2 February 2020.

As of February 2, 2020, 80 euros will be collected by our branches. During the application, the visa fee is requested to be fully and readily available at the application.

Visa fee is charged in euro on behalf of foreign agencies (consulate/embassy) for Visa transactions.
