Evacuation flight from South Africa

Arrivals quarantined Turkish Airlines (THY) has made an evacuation flight from Cape Town & Johannesburg for Turkish citizens in Republic of South Africa, due to travel restriction because of Omicron variant.

It is reported that 41 people who want to return to Turkey from South Africa were in Johannesburg last night at 20:30 TSI.R. left Tambo International Airport for Istanbul. These people, regardless of whether they have been vaccinated or have had the disease in the last 180 days, will be quarantined for 14 days at places to be determined by the governorates, provided that they meet the fees themselves.
