Extreme Heat Returns After Rain: Temperatures will increase by another 3-4 degrees

Temperatures are set to rise 3-6 degrees above seasonal norms. In the west, temperatures will increase by another 3-4 degrees on Wednesday. The heat in the Aegean and Southeastern regions will be oppressive, approaching 45 degrees Celsius.

Temperature Forecast in Three Major Cities

According to NTV, Istanbul will be sunny with a temperature of 31 degrees Celsius. The northwesterly wind will provide some coolness throughout the week, but starting Wednesday, the weather will become much more humid.

– Ankara: Clear skies with a high of 33 degrees Celsius.

– Bursa: 35 degrees Celsius.

– Izmir: Even in the shade, it will be 38 degrees Celsius, with strong winds offering some relief.

– Antalya: The high relative humidity will make the 31 degrees Celsius feel like 38 degrees.

In the Marmara region, the northwesterly wind will continue to provide some coolness, but temperatures will rise by 2-3 degrees from Thursday onwards, increasing the humidity.

– Edirne: 35 degrees Celsius.

– Balıkesir: 34 degrees Celsius.

In Central Anatolia, temperatures will be around 33-34 degrees Celsius, rising slightly by Thursday.

In the Aegean, temperatures will be very high even in the shade.

– Manisa: 39 degrees Celsius.

– Muğla: 38 degrees Celsius.

– Aydın: 43 degrees Celsius.

– Bodrum: 37 degrees Celsius. The good news is that strong winds, especially in Northern Aegean, will help reduce the risk of heatstroke.

In the Mediterranean, humid days have begun, with a high risk of heatstroke.

– Adana: 35 degrees Celsius.

– Mersin: 30 degrees Celsius, but the perceived temperature will be 38 degrees in the shade. There might be brief showers around Burdur.
