“Fake diploma” investigation grows, fake “neurosurgeon” caught

A.Ö. who introduced himself as a ‘general practitioner‘ at the Cerkezkoy State Hospital in Tekirdag and apparently worked at the hospital with a fake diploma. After the arrest of said person, two inspectors appointed by the Ministry of Health went to the district and began their work, within the scope of the investigation.

On the other hand, S.U. who was detained in Istanbul in accordance with statements of A.Ö., allegedly introduced himself as a ‘neurosurgeon’. S.U. was released to stand trial without arrest.

A.Ö. allegedly introduced himself as a ‘general practitioner‘ at Cerkezkoy State Hospital and is understood to have served in the hospital with a fake diploma. After being detained when other doctors suspected and complained, following her arrest, The investigation into the incident which started after she was detained upon complaints of other doctors is continuing.

ANOTHER PERSON INTRODUCES HIMSELF AS NEUROSURGEON

According to news in media on the other hand, S.U.. who is said to have introduced himself as neurosurgeon was captured in Istanbul and brought to the district. Photos of S.U. at the operating table in the hospital, was found by officials. In her testimony A.Ö said S.U. was her friend.

S.U who was transferred to the courthouse after the security operations was released to be tried without arrest by the court where he was taken.

Inspectors are now supposed to consult the information of the doctors and staff at the hospital, especially the doctors who allowed her as an observer in the hospital.
