Financial Times says Turkish Lira forces young people to brain drain

The UK-based Financial Times (FT) pointed out that Turkish youth prefered virtual brain drain due to the depreciation of the Turkish Lira. FT appealed to the opinions of young people working in companies abroad with a remote working system.

Noting that Turkish youth have started evaluating opportunities abroad with the remote work system as  global companies adapt to the pandemic and this situation causes problems for Turkish companies.

“The opposition parties in Turkey have been saying that there has been a brain drain over the past decade because President Erdogan has become more authoritarian,” the Financial Times said, analyzing why this situation has arisen.
