Fire breaks out in Gulnar district of Mersin, Turkey

A fire broke out in Gülnar district of Mersin in a wooded area for a reason that has not yet been determined.

Upon notification, 3 extinguishing helicopters, a large number of all-terrain vehicles, first responders and a Forestry Regional Directorate team were dispatched to the region. Crews are continuing to respond to the fire from the air and land. (TRT)

A fire broke out in the forest in the Kavakoluku neighborhood of the district at around 18.00 for a reason that has not yet been determined. Upon notification, 3 firefighting helicopters, a large number of all-terrain vehicles, first responders and teams were dispatched to the region.
