Aydemir, the former President of TURKSTAT, drew attention to an important detail about the section “Definitions and support elements for real estate services” published in the Official Gazette yesterday. He said “The Ministry of Commerce will give incredible support to real estate agents so that they can market and sell Turkey’s real estate, abroad.”

Former TURKSTAT President Birol Aydemir made statements on his social media account about the support that the Ministry of Commerce will give to realtors. Aydemir drew attention to an important detail about the section ‘Definitions and support elements for real estate services’ published in the Official Gazette yesterday.

“The state will give incredible support to real estate agents so that they can sell real estate in Turkey, abroad,” Aydemir said.

Aydemir’s explanations were as follows;

“With the presidential decree issued last night, the Ministry of Commerce will give incredible state support to real estate agents so that they can market and Turkey’s real estate, abroad. Let’s say you are a realtor and go to Morocco to look for a Moroccan to buy an apartment in our country. For this purpose, you have opened a real estate agent shop in Morocco. You will be able to get 3.6 million TL per year from our state for the rent of this shop. If you advertise on Moroccan TVs, billboards, made brochures, Turkish government will give you 1.8 million TL a year for these expenses. Or you get together as 5-6 real estate agents from Turkey and go to Morocco to market our country’s real estate for ten days. Your flight ticket, hotel, transfer expenses in Morocco…. Our state wil pay for all of them up to 1 million TL.”
