Future Party Deputy says decision for early election already made by ruling bloc

Selcuk OZDAG, a deputy from Future Party has claimed that the decision to hold an early election was made after talks between President ERDOGAN of Ak Party and Devlet Bahçeli (leader of alliance partner). The deputy also announced the date of the election.

The Deputy Chairman of the Future Party, made remarkable statements in the program broadcast on a private television channel. He identified the cause of the economic crisis as the government and made a new claim in the early election debates.

Ozdağ said, “In recent months, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Devlet Bahçeli decided to hold elections on June 19 (2022) at a meeting. In my opinion, and by the sensations we receive, this is also the case. There will be an early election in Turkey.”
