Tourists not wearing masks in Cappadocia get fined by Gendarmerie teams

In Cappadocia, tourists who were exempt from the weekend curfew were fined for not wearing masks.

The weekend ban application in Nevşehir with very high risk in “Covid Information Map” started at 21:00 on Friday.

Announcements in Turkish and English were made by Provincial Gendarmerie teams patrolling the valleys in the region to foreign tourists visiting the region of Cappadocia, exempt from curfew restrictions.

Despite announcements made by teams in the Valley Of Swords, warning that masks should be worn, 37 foreign tourists were fined for not complying with instructions.
