General Manager of Turkish Airlines explained: “THY’s value has surpassed Lufthansa”

Bilal Ekşi, General Manager of Turkish Airlines, announced that the market value of Turkish Airlines had surpassed Lufthansa.

Turkish Airlines (THY), the flag carrier airline company of Turkey, reached a market value of 9.78 billion euros, surpassing the 9.28 billion market value of Lufthansa, the flag carrier airline of Germany.

THY’s market capitalization, which is traded on Borsa Istanbul, reached TL 191.3 billion with the share price increasing by 8 percent to 138.60 lira. Thus, the company’s share price, which was TL 20.02 on December 31, 2021, has increased by 592.3 percent since the beginning of the year.
