A German newspaper which evaluated the resorts in the Mediterranean according to their cost, wrote that the most expensive destination in the region was Greece, and the cheapest was Turkey.

The newspaper also wrote following: “After a 2.5-year interval due to the pandemic, the tourism industry in Europe has made a big comeback this year and expectations have been exceeded for bookings in most places. In some destinations, it is expected to reach levels in 2019 in which records were broken in tourism. But this year the holiday has a price.”

The article said, “Despite the rising prices due to October costs, there is a great interest in Greece. Holidays in Turkey are relatively cheap, because the additional costs in the hotel industry are still low. In addition, due to the war in October, there may be a significant reduction in the number of tourists coming to the country from Ukraine and Russia this year. All-inclusive hotels in Antalya are faced with the challenge of giving their rooms to holidaymakers from other countries at lower prices. But tourists should also be aware that inflation makes other services more expensive.”
