Forest fire breaks out in Dalaman
A forest fire broke out in Dalaman. The fire was brought under control by 5 helicopters and 2 airplanes from the air, 14 water tenders, 6 water tankers and 40 forest workers
The fire broke out in the forest covered with red pine trees in the Gurkoy district of Dalaman, Mugla, for an unidentified reason at about 14:30. It was controlled by 5 helicopters and 2 airplanes from the air, 14 water tenders, 6 water tankers and 40 forest workers as a result of 1 hour of work done. 1 Hectare of the area was burned down in the fire. The gendarmerie launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
