Good news for visitors: Turkey reduces museum card price from TL 70 to 60

It is reported that Müzekart (card for museums) fee of TL 70 will be reduced to TL 60 as of 1 March 2020. Müzekart has a one-year validity period starting from the date of receipt. In addition to museums and ruins connected to the Ministry of culture and tourism, MUZEKART also provides limited free access to some historical sites connected to the Administration of National Palaces, for 1 year
The card will be available at as the museum and historical places tolls connected to the Ministry of Culture and tourism as well as on the web address www.muze.gov.tr as of 1 March 2020.
– However this does not seem to apply to foreign visitors (daily and all). It seems that the administration would like our foreign visitors to be more generous 🙂
