Good Party leader Aksener calls for early elections, saying “Enough is enough”

Reactions to the Central Bank’s interest rate decision which caused dollar to see new records against TL, are continuing. Meral Aksener, the leader of the GOOD Party, called on President Erdogan, saying, “As soon as possible, this country should be taken to the elections and this disgrace should be stopped.”

After the Central Bank’s interest rate decision, the dollar / TL exchange rate also exceeded the 11 level. After consecutive records in the dollar, there was also strong criticism of the government from opposition parties.

“ENOUGH IS ENOUGH”

Meral Aksener, the leader of the GOOD Party, addressed the President and AKP Leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan with the tag “Enough is Enough” on her social media account.

CALLING FOR EARLY ELECTIONS

Aksener said, “You have destroyed our money, you have destroyed our reputation. If this was on purpose /deliberate, it’s straight betrayal.”

However, if it is a reality as a result of your incompetence, it is obvious what needs to be done: we should take the country to the elections as soon as possible and stop this disgrace,”he said.

KILICDAROGLU AND AKSENER ORGANIZED AN ECONOMIC SUMMIT

Following the rapid increase in dollar TL rate in recent days, CHP leader KILICDAROGLU and GOOD Party leader AKSENER had met yesterday. After the bilateral talks, they stood in front of cameras and called for an early election.

WHAT DID ERDOGAN SAY?

In his statement at the Central Bank’s group meeting before the interest rate decision, Erdogan had said;

“Interest is the reason, inflation is the result. I say to those who are trying to turn this into a different direction, don’t try in vain. We will remove the scourge (load) of interest from the backs of this nation. We certainly cannot have our nation rolled over due to  interest. There can’t be another way out. Among our friends
